1930s Glass Beaded Necklace 16 inches of Beads Beading.
The light colored beads are sort of Flesh color or a Creamy Tan. The dark ones remind me of Hershey's milk Chocolate or dark rust red brick.
Seed bead spacers are ivory. Each disk bead has a saw tooth flat brass spacer between. The 4 small disks are about 11mm wide X 2mm thick. The 12 larger disks are pointed outward at center and measure 14mm wide X 6mm thick.
They have a hole running from one edge to about 5mm from opposite edge (see pictures). This hole placement causes them to over-lap. The two teepee like beads have ribs.
The round beads have center seam lines and are about 6mm with 2 that are between 8mm & 9mm.
Condition is good for their age - a few tiny fleas - mostly glass bubble pops and a few dark specks. One small disk has a ridge line or crack on one side which is discolored. Brass disks show some corrosion.
Fastener is screw type. This is a pretty necklace for wear or some nice beads for jewelry making.
