This pottery casserole with chafing dish is marked on the lid: 128 / U.S.A. / 220 and on the bottom: 128 / U.S.A. / Cal Orig 220. Beautifully done, the outside of the bowl is a medium to dark brown while the inside is stippled in yellow, brown, green orange and black. A keleidoscope pattern is on the lid in the same colors with a diamond shaped finial.
In very good condition, without chips or cracks, the chafing dish has some rust and discoloration issues, which I have shown in my pictures, and the casserole measures 6 1/4 inches high with the lid, 9 1/2 inches across the rim and 5 3/8 inches across the base while the stand measures 6 inches tall and 12 3/4 inches handle to handle.
A wonderful additon to any California Pottery Collection.
