Toy AND Patent Art Lot: This great hard plastic ramp walker is classic 1950s and it comes with the 1950s Patent Document for the Walking Toy for Louis Marx & Co. It also includes a reproduction of the color sales literature for the toy.
This elephant is in the harder to find brown and black color. They came in many varieties such as: cream and black, gray and red with gold trim and a political version "I Like Ike" with a 48 star flag on the elephant's back! The toy offered here is 3 3/4" long, good sized. This vintage toy has some light paint wear from play, which, is shown well in the images. Also, one side of this guy is of a lighter hue of brown than the other side. It was definitely from manufacture this way. No cracks or breaksother problems. See images. We've coupled this toy lot with the Patent Art for the actual toy described below. (It's ready to be popped into a standard 8 x 10 opening frame. Great gift Lot.
