John Muir, Preservationist, 1900’s Celebrate The Century 1998 gold stamp issue with 1st day cancel. This is a proof replica stamp on gleaming surface of 22 Karat Gold. The envelope includes the gold stamp, the actual issue stamp(s) with First Day Of Issue cancellation stamp including issue date, postal code and City, State. Also included on the envelope are the stamp title and Series, if applicable (please scanned image for this information in detail). The gold stamp is mounted on a velvet background card, inserted into the envelope and sealed. In addition to the issued envelope is a card (not shown) describing the stamp’s subject in detail.
