Matted and ready to pop into a standard frame: This unique antique view is an 8" x 10" photo print is from an original photo by photographer William Edward Hook which depicts a woman at the counter of an early cigar store, believed to be from Utah. Cigar box advertising can clearly be seen for brands such as: Osmundo, The Owl, LaPreferencia, Don Antonio and more... A helpful cigar historian has offered and helped us determine that the tax stamps on the cigar boxes appear to be between 1901 and 1915. Mr. Hook died in 1908, so the photo is from somewhere around that period. A gorgeous filigree metal cash register can also be seen in this wonderful image...
This wonderful reproduction of the original printed graphic is crisply printed on matte finish heavy photo paper. This piece includes a white acid-free matte and is ready to be popped into a standard 11" x 14" frame, which can be bought anywhere locally. Graphic area fits the 8" x 10" opening of the matte.
