This lovely vintage silverplate bowl stands 5 in. tall on 4 little feet. Measures 9.75 in. long and is 7.75 in. wide. Fantastic openwork in curvy lines. Dark patina. Bottom stamped Silverplate, Guaranteed, James W. Tufts and the logo. I was unable to get a clear image of the stamp and logo with my camera. I find no damage. James Tufts was a renowned silversmith from Massachusetts in the very early 1900's and his work is highly sought after. This is a great example of his craftsmanship. |
