This Paoli Scarf is from the 1970's and has the look of a hand dyed silk scarf but it is printed in a way in which the colors are just as vibrant on the back as on the front. The earthtones are warm tones in Sienna, Rust, Moss Green, Med Green, Mustard yellow, golden yellow and an orangish yellow. The pattern is a diamond shape of alternating colors on a square surface. It has a hand rolled edge.There is a photo which shows 1 small area where the edge stitching has come out. It measures about 1" in length. There are several pin holes where this scarf must have been worn held by a brooch and there is one small 5mm place where the fabric is parted. As shown in the photo, I could only see this small area when the scarf was held up to a light. This scarf has been folded for some time and will need to be lightly steamed before using.
