Beautiful Solid Lapis-Blue Incolay Cameo Stone Plate is by Alan Burnettin. This plate is called "The Isle Of Circe" the first issue in the limited edition "The Voyage of Ulysses" a series of collector's plates by the Incolay Studios. It depicts, amidst georges scenery, Ulysses and Circe, the witch/goddess, set on rocks. In the stunningly beautiful background are pine trees and deer. It measures approx. 8-1/2" in diameter. It is marked on the and numbered 9159c. This edition closed forever on the 31st of December 1984. The plate show some edge wear and other than that is in good condition. |
