Measures about 1 3/4" by 1 3/8" and is oval with a twisted brass border encircling a convex iridescent piece of genuine natural shell. ZLots of fancy prongs in a gypsy mounting with a solid brass backing. Excellent condition with lots of patina on the metal, a professionally replaced safety clasp on the back.
