Small hinged compact or box. Possibly for rouge or powder, could be used as a pill box too. Silver over brass, circa 1880s, engraved on bottom, looks like HRL, some brass showing through. Measures about 1 3/4" diameter.
Lovely repousse design, works well, good vintage condition, clasps firmly, great to use or display. |
