Vintage Original Albert Jacob Thewalt German Beer Stein with Pewter Lid and Music Box. The stein is a brightly colored luster with ornate pewter lid and music box that plays Schwedenmadel marked 155. The pewter lid is marked DBGM and 60 inside, the lid has some pitting with age. The stein is orange and peach luster finish on top and bottom, stein measures 9 inches tall including the lid, the base is 4 inches across. This stein was produced by Albert Jacob Thewalt in West Germany around WW2 marked with their triangle and T as shown in picture. The picture depicts a man and 2 women around a table, a scene with BeiSpiel Und Scherz on one side and Bleibt Froh Das Herz on the other. The music box has come loose but can easily be attached again. |
