Kaiser Wilhelm II Ocean Liner and Portrait Postcard published by Sander & Sohn. Circa 1903. This North German Lloyd ship was built in 1903 and made trips between Germany and New York. Siezed by the US during WWI and renamed USS Kaiser Wilhelm II and then Agememnon in 1917, and Monticello in 1927. Scrapped in 1940. Please check our other postcard listings for interior views of this grand ocean liner. Unused with an undivided back. Some impressions from album mounds but sharp corners and edges. |
