Lovely vintage green glass comport with an embossed, etched design that is heavily trimmed with gold. The gold trimm does show wear, normal for the age of this item. Stands 5 in. tall on a stemmed base and measures 6.75 in. diameter at the top. Quality glass, perhaps from the Westmoreland Glass Co. Purchased at an estate sale where the previous owner had excellent taste in her furnishings. No cracks, chips, nicks, etc. just the wear to the gold. Unique shade of green glass. |
