This "Coca Cola Kid" string holder is made of chalk and was produced in the 1950s. It measures 8" in height and has the Coca Cola Logo and Trademark on the Coke Lid that he wears as his cap. It is in excellent condition - having no chips, cracks or repairs. It still has its original wire hanger on the back for hanging on the wall. There is a place in the back for twine and the string comes out of his mouth. It listed in the 2004 "Schroeder’s Antiques Price Guide" on page 515 for $650.00. It also was the subject of the "Cover Story" in the 2003 March Edition of the "Antique & Collectibles Monthly Newsmagizine". |
