8x8x23" Early 20th Century cherry wood carving of a lohan with page or admirer. The young man hands the smiling holy man a peach blossom branch, & a glass eyed bird in his right hand. Both figures have what appear to be carved bone teeth, the old man has one glass eye. Has some natural aging cracks, the base crack is stabilized. Generally a great piece. |
