The full title of this wonderful 1889 book is "The Hearthstone: Or Life At Home: A Household Manual". This book was written for hints and helps for home making, home furnishing, decorations, amusements, health directions, the sick-room, te nursery, the library, and the laundry. Wonderful cover has a home scene. Binding is coming loose on the first pages and someone colored some of the house pictures, but for the age it is in great shape.
