Hand painted Nippon porcelain salt and pepper shakers. White background with wide border having a pretty display of pink and white flowers with wispy, green leaves. Raised gold beading outlines the border design, and along the bottom.
Each flower on the set is embellished with gold moriage outlining on the petals--parts of which are raised--and each have raised dot centers. Gold rings frame each hole on the shakers' tops.
Cork stoppers.
Circa: 1890-1921.
Size: 3 inches tall.
Condition: Very good, with fading to some of the gold lines. |
