Three 1950s Japan Christmas wreaths with composition lacquered fruit. The bottle brush wreath is 8" diameter. It has a gold lamé ribbon at the top and real mini pinecones sprayed gold amid the fruit. Two of the pine cones have some damage and several of the red berries have white specks showing from wear to the finish.
The two smaller wreaths may be ornaments or candle rings, measuring about 3" diameter. They are made completely of wired lacquered fruit and leaves. One still has its paper Made In Japan label. A few of the fruits have crazing or crackling of the lacquered finish, two leaves are loose, and several of the leaf tips have damage.
