This milky white demitasse cup and saucer with 22k gold trim, in the Golden Shell Pattern, was made by the Anchor Hocking Glass Company from 1965-1976 according to my Anchor Hocking's Fire King and more Third Edition Identification and Value Guide by Gene and Kathy Florence. The cup is marked: Oven-Proof / #20 / Anchor Mark / #2369 / Made in USA while the saucer is marked: Oven-Proof / #23 / Anchor Mark / #2339 / Made in USA.
The Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation came into existence on December 31,1937, when the Anchor Cap and Closure Corporation and its subsidiaries and the Hocking Glass Company merged. Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation continued to expand into other areas of production such as tableware, toiletries and cosmetic containers. It continues today to operate 20 plants and is the worlds largest maker of glass tableware.
In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites the cup has gold loss on the rim as I have shown in my pictures and measures 2 inches tall, 2 3/4 inches across the rim and 1 1/2 inches across the base while the saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter.
