Set of five Edwin Knowles large, double-handled bouillon or soup bowls. Pink and white exterior with gold leaf ring. Interior with two pink roses. Two bowls have the roses facing down; three bowls with the roses facing up.
Made in USA.
Circa: 1900-1948.
Size: 2 inches tall; 5 1/8 inches diameter.
Condition: Some paint peeling near handles. (See last photo) Picture shown is the one with the worst peeling; the rest are very minor. One bowl has crazing with minor discoloration; one with tight crack, which has discolored; one with 1/8 inch chip at rim.
This is a very old and hard-to-find pattern. I also have the matching egg cups to this set, which are very rare. (See item number 739b) |
