This 1964 New York Mets Final Yearbook with the cover picturing a circled Shea Stadium and artwork of Casey Stengel and baby Met, welcome mat NL player was illustrated by famed artist Willard Mullin. The New York Mets Franchise starting in 1962 have won two World Series Championships in their history. The Amazin Mets or Miracle Mets won the first in 1969 and the second in 1986. The New York Mets' 1964 season was the 3rd regular season for the Mets. They went 53-109 and finished 10th in the NL. They were managed by Casey Stengel. They played home games at Shea Stadium, which opened on April 17 of that year.
