This thick, deeply carved 1930’s butterscotch Bakelite dress clip reminds me of the lush tropical foliage and fruits in old bark cloth with its variety of overlapping leaves topped by a cross-hatched fruit or nut. The clip measures 2 ¼" high by ½" thick. The clip back has small teeth on the underside for a secure grip. The clip tests positively as Bakelite and gives you an instant Retro pop of color and tropical texture. Try it on a chain, colorful scarf, or ribbon as a pendant too!
