Manufacturer: Batchelder
Batchelder tile a large peacock, facing left, sitting on a branch. Done in classic matte finish with brown and blue (in the recesses), this tile was made by Batchelder, in Los Angeles, California, circa 1920. Measuring 5 7/8" square by 3/4" thick. The tile has obviously been de-installed and has minor remains of mortar on the back. Minor mortar in some recesses on the front. Chips on the right side. Frame this or set it in a garden! This is design #33 in the Batchelder tiles catalog. (#1921-4537)
