This lovely beaded mercury glass Christmas ornament in patriotic colors of red, white (silver) and blue was made in 1920s Czechoslovakia. About 6" long by 4-1/4" wide, the outside of the design is somewhat pie shaped, with various shapes and styles of wired beads forming an attractive geometric design in the center. A double strand bead tassel hangs from the center point.
There are no broken or missing beads, though most of them have some degree of finish wear (mostly the red) and the silver beads are now either darkened or pearly white due to natural age dissipation of the inner mercury silvering.
