This is a nice antique clean antique carpenter's plumb/level with the patented vials. This one is marked on the brass top plate "PAT. FEB.18.90 STANLEY RULE & LEVEL NEW BRITIAN CONN. U.S.A.". Overall in nice looking condition, nice cherry wood, good polished brass, no missing brass, and both vials in very good clean and working condition. We note that there are some minor scratches on the top brass plate, but not in the area of the Stanley mark. The wood has a nice polished finish, some minor dings, mostly on the edges, sets flat, not warped or cracked. This one measures 1.3" x 3.2" x 28" long. A very nice antique Stanley plumb/level! We are not sure what number designation Stanley used for this tool if any, no number marking on it. |
