A long time favorite of mine, this great old hand colored print by Louis Icart is a perfect example of the artist's skill in capturing not only the beauty of every woman who modeled for him, but Icart found a way to also catch the perfect emotion to bring the image to life. 17 x 14 in a very old frame, this classic print has a few areas that have darkened due to age and perhaps a little dampness, but nothing that can steal any of the beauty displayed in this mischievous young girl or the fine work of art. |
