Condition: very good
Very weird looking heavy stoneware pottery vase with multiple necks or openings. The bulbous mid-section sit on a foot that is flared at the bottom. It is signed in a circular fashion on inside of the bottom. I can't make it out. It looks like it says "Josh" or Joth something something. Even this much I am not sure of. It has a marble mat glaze. The colors are brown to back with white swirls. The walls are thick and it weight over 5 pounds. It is a wonderful example of the mid century modernist pottery. <p> The condition is excellent. There is a shallow crack on the underside that does not go through the wall. This is merely is a defect from the manufacturing process and not considered as damage. |
