A unique pipe made of bone, I believe, and fitted with brass. Measures 8.5 in. in length and the bowl of the pipe is 2 in. tall. It has holes in the bottom of the brass inside the bowl. Why? I don't know. The carving looks Asian. I find no damage. Appears to have been used as intended as there is residue. I cannot be sure, but it could be ivory? |
