Vintage Dinner Plate and Dessert Bowl Set. 7 Piece set includes 4 10 1/2 inch dinner plates and three 5 5/8 inch dessert, sauce or fruit bowls. The brown tone transferware design includes a countryside scene of a road going through a gage, over a bridge to a little house on the prarie. A river runs through it. The border is a floral and fruit design. Hallmark reads Underglaze, Country Side , Japan. There is crazing on the plates and some on the bowls. Two of the bowls have hairline cracks-see photos.
