This wonderful old cardboard sleigh candy container has a clay faced chenille Santa figure rider. The sleigh is painted white and coated in white mica and clear glitter. It measures 4-1/4" long by about 2 inches high. The Santa figure is made of fluffy red chenille with a molded, hand painted clay face and real cotton beard. He holds a green chenille tree in one hand. The underside of the sleigh has the original paper label from Candy Crafters of Lansdowne, PA - it states the sled and candy were made in the USA (candy is no longer present of course), the Santa only was made in Japan. Santa came unglued from his seat on the sleigh, a little dab of white glue will fix it up just fine.
