Manufacturer: Nekrassoff
Made by the firm of Sergei Nekrassoff, this dish was originally designed as an ashtray. It is beautifully hand painted with a Partridge (bird) standing on a bare limb of a tree. (Maybe this is the infamous Partridge in a pear tree!). Signed Nekrassoff on the front. This is done in enamel over copper. Measures about 6 3/4" in diameter. Height is 1 1/8". Circa 1940. Condition: minor chipping and crazing on the interior enameling. Generally nice condition. (#T-1271)
