Made in 1913, by Wedgwood, England, this is a calendar tile for the year of 1912. Done in brown transfer. The scene is of Pier 46 Mystic Wharves Boston Massachusetts. It also says "B & M.R.R. Terminal. Boston. 906 feet long, 240072 square feet. The steamers lying at the Pier are Hamburg American Line SS "Den of Grombie" American Oriental Line SS "Jesseric" Holland-American Line SS "Amsteldyk". B&MRR stands for the Boston and Maine Railroad. One original mounting hole. Measures 4 3/4" x 3 3/8". Chip on back upper right side, shallow chip on front to left of the hole. The calendar side says "Jones McDuffee & Stratton Crockery China & Glass Merchants, 33 Franklin St. Boston USA. (#T-1399)
