This 1950s lighted Christmas tree stand is made of heavy, thick hard plastic and red painted steel. It's 13-3/4" diameter by 6-1/2 inches high and can be used with both real and artificial trees.The white with red trim stand is decorated with decals of Santa Claus alternating with bells and holly. The stand is lighted from within and what appears to be the original, still-working small round light bulb is included, though the white paint covering the bulb is quite worn. The bulb has a C-7 size base.
There are a few scuffs to the red paint at the bottom rim and the inside of the stand could use a cleaning but there are no chips, cracks, or problems. The 6 foot cord has a Bakelite plug and is in good shape. The original box is present, marked Illuminated Santa-Stand Christmas Tree Holder. There is no manufacturer name on the stand or box, just Made In USA.
