An assortment of vintage Christmas candy containers spanning four decades, from the 1930s to the 1960s. The three metallic foil containers are American made from the 1930s. One is a red foil covered cardboard candy container ornament, 2" diameter. The other two are cone shaped cornucopias, 5-3/4" high. These can be filled with treats, ornaments, or other decorations and hung from the Christmas tree.
The 3" cardboard paper maché round ball container is from Western Germany, produced between 1947 and 1951. Both sides have a litho image of Santa Claus in the forest with children and a donkey. The inner rim is lined with paper lace. The exterior seams had white mica glitter trim which has mostly worn away, otherwise good condition.
The last candy container is a 2" metal ball, tin or steel with a lithographed angel design. It was made in England in the 1960s. All five containers have loops, hooks, or cords to hang as ornaments from your Christmas tree.
