This collector plate depicts the busts of Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson and T. Roosevelt on Mount Rushmore.
This magnificent mammoth sculpture was commissioned in 1927 to commemorate the first 150 years of American history. The Mount Rushmore busts were carved out of the granite mountainside in Keystone, South Dakota. The sculptor, Gutzon Borgium and 400 workers took 14 yrears to complete the project. Will make a nice addition to a plate collection. A Great Gift Idea!
