Circa: 1930 Manufacturer: Pima Indians
This is s Native American plaque or tray. It was made by the Pima Indians of Arizona sometime during the 1930's. The plaque or tray is a multicolored weaving of concentric circles. It is about 8 inches across. There is a wire with a brass bead inserted in the center of the plaque. This was apparently done by someone who wanted to diisplay it on a wall. The wire and bead can easilybe removed withiut causing any damage to the plaque. There is some wear along the rim, but otherwise this plaque is in very good condition.
