From a local estate, pressed glass and silverplate vintage antique caster, I believe a container for pickles or some sort of condiment. Measures about 7" tall 5.5" at the widest point of the handle, jar is nearly 4" tall. Glass is in very good condition, no damage or cracks or chips, silver plate good, sold unpolished, no pitting, hook on the side for a fork or utensil, which is not included or present.
Stamped ENGLAND on the inside of the lid. Jar and holder and lid all original.
Very good vintage condition, no damage or repair, sold as found, photos tell the story. Circa early to mid 1900s. Very nice! |
