This almost paper-thin Germany blown glass parasol or umbrella Christmas ornament dates from the late Victorian era to the turn of the last century. It's 5-1/2" long, painted in a salmon colored unsilvered finish. The outside rim of the cap has remnants of some type of brush or moss-like trim which is mostly worn away. The top is wrapped in wire and tied with a coiled, knotted thread bow. There is no damage and the finish is still in very good condition on this 100+ year old ornament.
