This is a hard to find boring machine auger bit (1-1/4 dia. x 12.5" long) (end shaft diameter is about .49") not marked by a maker's name, but is the type with the double lip and spur. Overall very good condition, not rusty, some staining, sharp, some small areas of minor dings or pitting, good threaded end tip. We note some wear on the very end of the shank from not being as tight as it should have been at one time or another so the set screw in the chuck put some grooves in the last 3/4" at the end of the shank. Drill runs fairly true, minor run out. |
