Probably made by McKee, c. 1860, also called Paneled Punty. This is smaller than the Sandwich version and it measures 5 ¼" h x 5"w. Octagonal top with a 4" circular base – base shows some wear – polished pontil. Brilliant bell-toned flint. In the mold 1/8" "cuts" appear inside the top of the rim. (3 in total). (3285)
