This beautiful hand cut 24% Lead Crystal glass basket was made by the Violetta Crystal Glass Factory in Poland and still has it's original foil label attached. The Crystal Glass Factory Violetta S.A. in Stronie, founded in 1864 by German – Franz Losky, who had come to Poland with nine glaziers and built the first glass furnace. The Factory is one of the biggest exporters of crystal glass to American, Japanese, Chinese and European markets. The long tradition and very good quality of products caused that the Violetta products are well known all over the world. In very good + condition, without chips, cracks or fleabites it is quite heavy and it measures 7 1/8 inches tall, 7 1/2 inches long and 5 1/4 inches wide.
