Vintage (not a modern reproduction), dated 1875, engraved and published by Johnson, Wilson and Co. of New York. Titled The Capture of the Works at Petersburg, from an original painting by Nast in the possession of the publishers. From an unknown book. Page size 7 in. x 10 3/8 in., image size including text 6 1/2 in. x 7 3/8 in.. Used condition-has an edge and corner water stain, some age discoloration, some light text ghosting on the reverse, was previously cut from a book prior to my purchase of it. No other major problems. Great period piece for framing! |
