This is a C1960-70 English Black Golliwog Cloth Doll Made in Chiltern England measuring 23 inches tall. The golliwog dolls are taken from an English children's story The Adventures of Two Dutch Dolls and a Golliwog. Since there are a great many versions and sizes of Golliwogs, they are fun to collect. This cloth golliwog doll has a fake fur black wig, no odor, a felt face, cotton cloth stuffed body, a tiny pin point size holes on the right arm. There is some staining to the hands. And a nice cheerful smile!
