Also known as Comet and Peacock Tail, this beautiful pattern is attributed to Bryce McKee and McKee & Bros. circa the 1850's to the 1860s.
This attractive flint goblet has a beautiful ring when gently tapped attributing to the lead content in the glass. Although this goblet has been reproduced, I believe the characteristics of this goblet demonstrate it's authenticity. The goblet is heavy with a ring when tapped as mentioned earlier. In addition, the diamond points of the pattern are soft and smooth rather than sharp and coarse.
The goblet measures 6" high and 3 1/8" wide. The goblet is in excellent condtion, free of any chips, cracks or discolorations.
