Circa: 1860's Manufacturer: Union Glass Co.
Also known as Cathedral, this attractive early pattern is attributed to the Union Glass Co., Somerville, MA circa the 1860's. McKee also made a similar pattern but I was not able to find castor bottles listed for their pattern.
These three fine bottles feature the original lids. One of the bottles has a shaker top and measures 3/4" high and 2 1/4" high. One of the bottles has a hinged lid with a slot and finial and measures 5 1/4" tall and 2" wide. The other bottle has a hinged lid with a slightly smaller slot and finial. It measures 5 1/8" tall and 2" wide.
All three bottles are in excellent condition. There is some discoloration of the tops due to age as might be expected, but all are in tact. |
