Circa: 1942 - 1945 Country of Origin: United States Manufacturer: Premier Glass Works
An assortment of scarce unsilvered 1940s glass Christmas ornaments by Premier Glass Works, made during the World War II years when silvering agents were unavailable for non-military use. The main color is transparent red, with three of the ornaments having thing painted bands or stripes in primary colors of green, blue, yellow, or red.
The 2-3/4" long grape cluster ornament is solid red. The round ball is 2-1/2" diameter. The bell is the smallest at 2-1/4 inches, and the teardrop with double diamond indents at the center is the largest at 3-1/2" high. The metal cap on the bell covers a chipped pike but it still hangs and looks fine, otherwise the ornaments are in very good vintage condition with little finish wear.
