Vintage Corning Ware Peach Floral 1 1/2 Liter Covered Casserole with Ray Pattern Lid Glass Cookware, Go Green! Go Green with Corning Ware, you can bake, serve and store leftovers all in one dish, then reheat leftovers in the same dish! This pattern was made by Corning Ware from in the 1970's and features a peach colored floral pattern, it is made of pyroceram. Pyroceram was invented in the late 1950's and is a special mixture of glass and crystalline ceramic that Corning Ware holds the patent on, it is made to withstand both heat and cold. Several years ago the Corning Ware company was sold, the few pieces of Corning Ware that is still made are not made of pyroceram.
As with all the vintage Corning Ware we sell this piece is made of the original pyroceram. This casserole holds 1 1/2 liters, is 7 inches across and about 3 inches deep, #A-1 1/2-B, clear lid has the rayed pattern around the handle. Both pieces are in excellent gently used condition, no chips, clean and ready to use. It would be a wonderful addition to your set!
