Circa: 1930's Condition: Good++ Manufacturer: HENRY DISSTON & SONS
This is a very nice clean Disston D-7 9 teeth per inch cross-cut hand-saw, with the "*DISSTON* U.S.A." medallion on the handle. This is a good sharp, straight saw, with a nice clean handle and blade. The blade is rust free, with minor pitting on less than 10% of the blade, about 98% straight, with a very minor wave, hardly worth mentioning. The etch or blade mark can be seen on this one, reads "HENRY DISSTON & SONS INC. KEYSTONE SAW WORKS PHILADELPHIA U.S.A. D-7 LIGHTWEIGHT". The handle hardware and handle are clean and solid, the handle has some of edge wear around the parimeter, but not cracked, or chipped, and still has a good appearence. We note most of the clear lacquer finish is worn off the handle, but it is smooth and has a nice patina. A nice clean, useable crosscut hand saw, in sharp, ready to use condition! Also a nice looking hard to find (D7) type saw by a well known quality tool maker!
