This 3 footed silver overlay bowl in the Blossom Time pattern was made by the New Martinsville Glass Company of West Virginia. The New Martinsville Glass Company opened in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia. They were renowned for the use of color in their glassware. They promoted liquor sets even through Prohibition. The company was bought by Viking Glass in 1944. With a scalloped rim that has been outlined with silver overlay and three sets of flowers around the rim that are completely intact. In very good + condition without chips, cracks or fleabites it measures 2 1/2 inches high and 6 3/4 inches across the rim. An addition to any New Martinsville Glass Collection.
