Antique stone blocks in box with a great colored print image on lid showing family watching construction of a building. Made by F. A. Richter New York . US Patents Mar 6th 1900. Nice early set No 2 contians about 45 blocks in 3 colours. Each block is silky smooth, fabricated in stone to represent sandstone, slate and terracotta. Includes instruction manual with diagrams of how the blocks can be contructed into intricate archetectually sophisticated buildings. This construction set was made in late 19th century. F. A. Richter lived from 1846 to 1910. Set is in excellent condition. Stones have good color and no chips or breaks. Box is in good condition. This is a heavy well made antique set of building blocks to form the basis of any vintage toy collection. Box measures 6.5 by 5 by 1 inches. A great addition to your toy collection! |
